Hot Cheese Rounds
|Margarine||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Blue cheese||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Sharp cheddar cheese/Similar cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), shredded|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Chives||1 Teaspoon, minced|
|Parsley||1 Teaspoon, minced|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Whole wheat flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Flour||1 Cup (16 tbs) (unbleached)|
Cream together margarine and cheeses.
Add garlic, chives, parsley, and baking powder.
Add flour slowly, mixing thoroughly.
Shape into 2 rolls, each about 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
Preheat oven to 375°.
Slice rounds 1/4 inch thick and place on well-greased baking sheets.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden.
