Romaine Salad With Blue Cheese And Walnuts
|Romaine lettuce head||1 Large|
|Olive oil/Vegetable oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Red wine vinegar||1 Tablespoon|
|Crumbled blue cheese||2 Ounce (1/4 Cup)|
|Coarsely chopped walnuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Cherry tomatoes/1 medium-size tomato||8 , cut into 8 wedges|
1. Wash the lettuce and pat it dry with paper toweling. Tear the lettuce into bite-size pieces.
2. Put the oil, vinegar, and half the cheese into a large serving bowl. Mash the cheese with a fork, then blend it thoroughly with the oil and vinegar.
3. Add the lettuce, the remaining cheese, and the walnuts and tomatoes, and toss thoroughly. Serve immediately.
