Cheese Herb Buffet Loaves

  Unsifted flour 7 Cup (112 tbs)
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Dry yeast 1⁄2 Ounce (2 Packages)
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Grated parmesan cheese 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Finely chopped parsley 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Oregano leaves 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Garlic salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Egg white 1 , slightly beaten

Mix 2 cups flour, sugar, salt and undissolved yeast thoroughly in a large bowl.
Combine the milk, 1 cup water and margarine in a saucepan and place over low heat until liquids are warm.
Margarine does not need to melt.
Add to dry ingredients gradually and beat for 2 minutes with electric mixer at medium speed, scraping bowl occasionally.
Add 3/4 cup flour and beat at high speed for 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally.
Stir in enough remaining flour to make a soft dough.
Turn out onto a lightly floured board and knead for 8 to 10 minutes or until smooth and elastic.
Place in a greased bowl and turn to grease top.
Cover and let rise in a warm place, free from draft, for about 30 minutes or until doubled in bulk.
Combine cheese, parsley, oregano and garlic salt.
Punch dough down.
Turn out onto a lightly floured board and divide in half.
Let rest for 5 minutes.
Roll out 1/2 of the dough into 8 x 15-inch rectangle.
Sprinkle with half the cheese mixture.
Cut into three 8 x 5-inch rectangles and roll each rectangle from 8-inch side as for jelly roll.
Pinch seams to seal.
Pinch ends and fold underneath.
Place loaves, seam side down and 1/4 inch apart, on half of a greased baking sheet.
Repeat with remaining dough and filling and place loaves on same baking sheet.
Cover and let rise in a warm place, free from draft, for about 30 minutes or until doubled in bulk.
Bake in 400-degree oven for 10 minutes, then remove from oven.
Mix the egg white with 2 tablespoons water and brush on loaves.
Sprinkle with sesame seed, if desired.
Bake for 15 minutes longer or until done.
Remove from baking sheet and cool on wire rack.
Separate loaves and slice each into 1/2-inch slices.
Seasoned salt may be substituted for garlic salt.
