Blue Cheese Log
|Sesame seed||3 Tablespoon|
|Cream cheese||16 Ounce (2 Package)|
|Blue cheese||4 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Shredded cheddar cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Onion powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Garlic powder||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
Melt butter in pie plate at High 30 to 45 seconds.
Stir in sesame seed to coat.
Microwave at High 5 to 10 minutes, or until light brown, stirring every other minute.
In 2-qt. casserole place cream cheese, blue cheese and Cheddar cheese.
Reduce power to 50% (Medium).
Microwave 1 to 2 1/2 minutes, or until cheeses soften.
Add sherry, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder and garlic powder.
Beat with electric mixer until fluffy.
Refrigerate 1 to 2 hours, or until mixture can be handled easily.
Divide chilled mixture in half.
Using wax paper, shape each half into a 6-in log.
Roll each log in toasted sesame seed.
Wrap separately, label and freeze no longer than 1 month.
To serve, unwrap one log and place on plate.
Microwave at 30% (Medium-Low) 2 to 4 minutes, or until wooden pick can be easily inserted in center, rotating plate every minute.
Let stand 10 to 15 minutes.
Serve with crackers, if desired.
