Fried Cheese Crunchies
|Cheese||4 Ounce, grated|
|Salt||1 Teaspoon (Leveled)|
|Worcestershire sauce||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Cayenne pepper||1 Pinch|
|Milk||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Bread slices||4 Large (1/2 Inch Thick)|
|Fat||2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Deep Frying)|
Mix the grated cheese, flour and seasonings.
Beat the egg, add the milk and beat into the cheese mixture.
Cut the bread into neat shapes and spread with a thick layer of the cheese mixture.
Fry in hot deep fat to a rich golden brown, putting the cheese side down first and then turn over. (The total frying time is approximately 1 minute).
Drain and serve at once as a hot cocktail or party snack.
