Savory Cheese Cookies
|Cheddar cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), grated|
|Soft butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|White sugar||2 Tablespoon|
|Light cream||1 Tablespoon|
|All purpose flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Mix cheese and butter together and add sugar, cream and salt.
Stir in the flour and then turn out on a lightly floured board.
Knead slightly until smooth.
Roll dough out to 1/4-inch thickness and cut into desired shapes fingers, rounds, stars, etc.
Place on ungreased cooky sheets and bake at 300F for 10 to 15 minutes, or until edges are golden.
