1. Melt butter in a 1 1/2-quart glass casserole in microwave oven (15 seconds at HIGH).
2. Add shredded wheat biscuits and heat uncovered in microwave oven 1 1/2 minutes at HIGH; stir every 30 seconds.
3. Add cheese and toss lightly to coat biscuits.
4. Serve warm or cool. Store in a tightly covered jar in refrigerator.
