Cheese Diamonds

Ingredients
  Cream cheese 8 Ounce, softened (1 Package)
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Flour 3 Tablespoon
  Egg yolk 1
  Grated lemon peel 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Sweet roll dough/Sweet roll dough 1 Cup (16 tbs) (1/2 Recipe, Traditional)
  Jam 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Chopped nuts 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

Beat cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy.
Stir in flour, egg yolk, lemon peel and juice.
Roll dough into 15-inch square.
Cut into twenty-five 3-inch squares.
Place on greased baking sheets.
Place 1 tablespoon cheese mixture in center of each square.
Brink 2 diagonally opposite corners to center of each square, overlapping slightly; pinch to seal.
Let rise until double.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes.
Heat jam until melted; brush lightly over hot rolls and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
