Pepper Cheese Cabbage

  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cabbage wedges 1 Pound
  Chopped pepper 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Red Or Green)
  Margarine/Butter 2 Tablespoon
  All purpose flour 1 Tablespoon
  Garlic salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1 Dash
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Shredded cheddar cheese 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)

1. Place water and salt in 1 1/2-quart casserole; arrange cabbage wedges spoke-fashion with core at outside edge. Cover tightly and microwave on high (100%) 5 minutes; rotate casserole 1/2 turn. Microwave until crisp-tender, 3 to 5 minutes longer; drain.
2. Place red pepper and margarine in 2-cup measure. Microwave uncovered on high (100%) until pepper is crisp-tender, about 1 minute. Blend in flour, garlic salt and pepper; stir in milk. Microwave uncovered, stirring every minute, until sauce is thickened, 2 to 3 minutes. Pour sauce over hot cabbage wedges; sprinkle with cheese.
