Onion Cheese Bake

Ingredients
  Canned small white onions 32 Ounce, drained (2 Cans, 16 Ounce Each)
  Canned cream of mushroom soup 10 3⁄4 Ounce (Undiluted, 1 Can)
  Shredded cheddar cheese 4 Ounce, divided (1 Cup)
  Cheese cracker crumbs 1 Cup (16 tbs), divided
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

Put onions in a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Combine soup, 1/2 cup cheese, 1/2 cup crumbs, and pepper.
Pour over onions.
Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese and top with remaining 1/2 cup cracker crumbs.
Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.
