Double Chocolate Fondue
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Evaporated milk||10 Ounce, divided (2 Cans, 5 Ounce Each)|
|Baking cocoa||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Unsweetened chocolate square||4 Ounce, chopped (4 Squares, 1 Ounce Each)|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Cubed pound cake||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Assorted fresh fruits||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and 1 can milk.
Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until sugar is dissolved.
In a small bowl, whisk cocoa and remaining milk until smooth.
Add to sugar mixture; bring to a boil, whisking constantly.
Remove from the heat; stir in chocolate and butter until melted.
Stir in vanilla.
