Cheese Thumbprints

Ingredients
  All purpose flour 1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Firmly packed dark brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Smooth peanut butter 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Shredded cheddar cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
  Strawberry jam 4 Tablespoon
Directions

Combine dry ingredients In a large bowl and set aside.
Cream butter and sugar: blend in peanut butter, beaten egg.
Cheese, and vanilla extract.
Add to dry Ingredients and blend well.
Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on lightly greased cookie sheets.
Make thumbprint indentation on each cookie.
Bake at 350 ° for 12 to 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and fill with jam
