Olive & Cheese Squares
|Canned chopped ripe olives||4 1⁄4 Ounce, drained (1 Can)|
|Grated sharp cheddar cheese||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Green onions||2 Small, finely chopped|
|Seasoned salt||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Sandwich bread slice/Wheat sandwich bread slice||12 (White)|
In a medium bowl, combine olives, cheese, mayonnaise, onions and seasoned salt; set aside.
Preheat broiler if necessary.
Place oven shelf 3 to 6 inches from heating element.
Cut crusts from bread; reserve crusts for another use.
Lightly toast bread.
Spread about 2 tablespoons olive mixture over each slice.
Cut each slice into 4 squares.
Arrange squares on an ungreased baking sheet.
Broil until topping bubbles, 2 to 3 minutes.
