Garlic Cheese Fondue
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), cut in half|
|Shredded swiss cheese||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Ground nutmeg||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|White wine||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|French bread||1 , cut into 1-inch cubes|
Rub inside of 2-quart casserole with garlic.
Combine cheese, flour, salt, nutmeg and pepper in plastic bag.
Shake to coat cheese.
Set aside pour wine into 2-quart casserole.
Microwave at MEDIUM-HIGH (70%) until wine is very hot but not boiling, 2 to 4 minutes.
Add all ingredients from plastic tag.
Blend with wire whisk.
Microwave at MEDIUM-HIGH (70%) until bubbly, 4 to 9 minutes.
Stir with wire whisk until smooth.
Serve with bread cubes.
