Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), softened
  Cream cheese 4 Ounce, softened
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Vanilla 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Lemon peel 1⁄2 Teaspoon, grated
  All purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

In large bowl of an electric mixer, beat butter, cream cheese, and sugar until creamy; beat in vanilla and lemon peel.
Gradually add flour, blending thoroughly.
Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing cookies about 2 inches apart.
Bake in a 350° oven for about 12 minutes or until edges are golden.
Transfer to racks and let cool.
Store airtight.
