Hamburger Cheese Bake
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|Canned tomato sauce||16 Ounce (2 Cans, 8 Ounce Each)|
|Garlic salt||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Medium noodles||4 Cup (64 tbs), uncooked|
|Cream style cottage cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cream cheese||8 Ounce, softened (1 Package)|
|Dairy sour cream||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Green onion||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), sliced|
|Green pepper||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped|
|Parmesan cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), shredded|
Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet.
Stir in tomato sauce, sugar, salt, garlic salt and pepper.
Remove from heat.
Mean while, cook noodles according to package directions and drain.
Combine cottage cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, green onion and green pepper.
Spread half the noodles in 11x7x11/2 inch baking dish, and top with a little meat sauce.
Cover with the cream mixture.
Add remaining noodles and remaining meat sauce, and sprinkle with Parmesan.
Bake at 350° for 30 minutes
