Savory Cheese Pockets
|1% cottage cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Skim milk||1 Tablespoon|
|Shredded zucchini||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Shredded reduced fat cheddar cheese||1 Ounce (1/4 Cup)|
|Dill weed||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Onion powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Whole wheat pita breads||2 (6 Inch)|
In a blender or small food processor, blend or process the cottage cheese and milk until smooth.
Transfer the cottage cheese mixture to a small bowl.
Stir in the zucchini, cheddar cheese, dillweed and onion powder.
Cut each pita crosswise in half to form 2 pockets.
Fill each pocket with the cheese mixture.
