Strawberry Cheese Fluff

Ingredients
  Unflavored gelatin 1 Ounce (1 Envelope)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Cold water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Frozen sliced strawberries 10 Ounce, thawed and drained (1 Package)
  Dairy sour cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Small curd creamed cottage cheese 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Cream cheese 4 Ounce, softened
Directions

1. Combine gelatin, sugar, and salt in a saucepan. Mix well and stir in the water and 1/4 cup of the reserved strawberry syrup. Stir over low heat until gelatin and sugar are dissolved.
2. Combine in a bowl the strawberries, remaining syrup, sour cream, and cheese. Beat until thoroughly blended. Stir in the dissolved gelatin. Pour into a bowl and chill until firm, 8 hours or overnight.
3. To serve, spoon dessert into chilled sherbet glasses. Accompany with a selection of toppings such as whipped cream, crushed strawberries, and flaked coconut
