Nutty Fried Cheese
|Peanut oil||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed)|
|Crackers||28 , finely rolled|
|Dry roasted unsalted cashews||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs), chopped|
|Brie cheese/Monterey jack / muenster cheese||8 Ounce|
|All purpose flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
In large skillet, heat a 1-inch depth of Peanut Oil to 375°F.
In small bowl, combine Crackers and Dry Roasted Unsalted Cashews.
Cut cheese into 16 wedges; lightly coat with flour, then dip in egg mixed with water.
Coat cheese pieces completely with crumb mixture.
Fry, a few pieces at a time, 30 to 60 seconds or until crust is golden and centers are melted.
Remove with slotted spoon; drain on paper towels.
