Sizzling Cheese Bites
|All purpose flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Cayenne pepper||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Milk||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Butter||2 Tablespoon, softened|
|Canned french fried onions||3 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Sharp cheddar cheese bar||10 Ounce, cut into 1/2-inch cubes|
|Cooking oil||2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Deep Frying)|
Combine all ingredients except cheese and oil in large mixer bowl.
Beat at medium speed of mixer until well blended.
Coat cheese cubes in batter.
Fry, a few at a time, in 1/2 inch hot oil (350° F.) in skillet, 30 to 60 seconds on each side or until golden brown.
