Cheese And Filbert Balls
|Shredded sharp cheddar cheese||1⁄4 Pound (1 Cup)|
|Butter||4 Tablespoon (1/4 Cup)|
|Flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Ground filberts||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Using your hands, mix together the cheese, butter, flour, salt, 1/2 cup of the filberts, and paprika.
When well blended, roll teaspoonfuls of the dough in little marbles, roll balls in the other 1/2 cup of filberts, and arrange on cooky sheets.
Chill, then bake in a moderate oven (350°) for 10 minutes, or until lightly browned.
