Cheese Coated Halibut Sticks

Ingredients
  Halibut fillets 2 Pound (1 Inch Thick)
  Salad oil 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), mashed/minced
  Grated american cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Use Any Commercial Brand)
  Dry bread crumbs 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Cut the halibut into pieces approximately 1 inch wide by 2 inches long.
Combine the oil, salt, and garlic.
Marinate the halibut steaks in the oil for 1 to 2 minutes, then drain.
Roll in the grated cheese and then in the dry crumbs.
Place on an oiled baking sheet so that pieces do not touch.
Bake in a very hot oven (450°) for 12 minutes.
