|Light corn syrup||1 Pint (2 Cups)|
|Vanilla extract||1 Tablespoon|
|Cream/Brandy/rum||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Assorted dippers||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Marshmallows, Strawberries With Hull, Apple Slices, Banana Chunks, Pineapple Chunks, Mandarin Orange Segments, Cherries With Stems, Cake Cubes And Melon Balls)|
1. Combine chocolate pieces and corn syrup in a heavy saucepan. Heat and stir until chocolate melts and mixture is smooth.
2. Add vanilla extract (omit if using brandy or rum) and cream; stir until well blended. Turn into a fondue pot and keep hot.
3. To serve, surround fondue pot with small bowls of dippers. Provide fondue forks for guests to spear dippers, then dip into fondue.
