|Unsweetened chocolate||2 Ounce (2 squares)|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Soft bread crumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Eggs||3 , separated|
1. Preheat oven to moderate (350° F.).
2. Add the chocolate, broken into pieces, to the milk. Heat until the chocolate melts and stir until blended. Add the crumbs, butter, sugar and salt.
3. Beat the egg yolks slightly, stir in a little of the hot milk and return to the milk mixture, stirring. Cool.
4. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the cooled mixture. Turn into a five-cup greased baking dish and bake about forty minutes.
