Cream Cheese Fudge
|Unsweetened chocolate square||4 Ounce (Four 1 Ounce Squares)|
|Cream cheese||6 Ounce, softened (Two 3 Ounce Packages)|
|Sifted powdered sugar||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Chopped pecans/Chopped walnuts||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Pecan halves||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Place chocolate in top of a double boiler; bring water to a boil.
Reduce heat to low; cook until chocolate melts.
Combine cream cheese and sugar, beating at low speed of an electric mixer until smooth.
Add melted chocolate and vanilla, beating well.
Stir in chopped pecans.
Press mixture into a lightly greased 8-inch square pan.
Chill until firm and cut into squares.
Top each square with a pecan half.
Store fudge in refrigerator.
