  White cheese 1 Kilogram
  Sugar 500 Gram
  Semolina 200 Gram
  Cream 300 Gram
  Pistachio 100 Gram

One day before the preparation,cut the Cheese and keep it in the water untill all the salt is coming out and change the water every 30 minutes to 1 hour time until it becomes sweet. Place the cheese in a deep pan in the owen at 185 degrees until the cheese is melting and after take the cheese out and place it on a hot plate and attach the sugar syrop, mix it together untill the cheese is absorbing all the syrop sugar and add the samolina powder and again mix until it's becoming a soft cream.this cream will be placed on a table where you put little sugar and syrop sugar as well and you prepare it with a small roll untill it becomes one cm flat.Add the dairy cream on top and roll it and after add some sugar syrop and roll it in the pistachio powder, after which finally you got your arabic cheese dessert!

Akawy/Akawi cheese-could a methyri Greek Cheese be used or what else. as this cheese is not common outside the ME. These look wonderful but Akawy Cheese is rarely seen in US.

Try to make it with the normal white cheese, salty or the sweet one, and than you don't have to put it in the water anymore, but it should be also soft after melting it and to stay together. Good luck!!
