American Cottage Cheese Coleslaw
|Cream style cottage cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Mayonnaise||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Caraway seed||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Onion juice||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Worcestershire sauce||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Finely shredded cabbage||8 Cup (128 tbs), chilled|
Combine the cottage cheese and mayonnaise; add vinegar, caraway seed, onion juice, and Worcestershire sauce.
Mix dressing lightly with cabbage.
For stronger caraway seed flavor, chill a few hours before serving.
Place slaw in large bowl lined with cabbage leaves.
If desired, garnish with generous mound of cottage cheese and green pepper rings.
