Savory Cheese Bake
|Butter||1⁄2 Ounce (15 Grams)|
|Cooked ham slice||2 , chopped|
|Cooked peas||2 Tablespoon|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Milk||1⁄4 Pint (150 Milliliters)|
|Prepared mustard||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Mature cheddar cheese||2 Ounce, grated (50 Grams)|
|Tomato slices||6 (For Garnish)|
Spread the bread with the butter and cut into triangles.
Arrange in the base of a greased 600 ml (1 pint) ovenproof dish.
Top with the ham and peas.
Beat together the egg, milk, mustard and salt and pepper to taste.
Pour into the dish and sprinkle the cheese on top.
Cook in a preheated moderately hot oven, 190 °C (375°F), Gas Mark 5, for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden and well risen.
Garnish with tomato slices.
