Plantation Cheese Log
|Pecans||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm)|
|Cream cheese||6 Ounce, softened|
|Worcestershire sauce||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Soy sauce||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Chili powder||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Put pecans and garlic through medium blade of a food chopper.
Blend the remaining ingredients except chili powder in a bowl; mix in the pecan-garlic mixture.
Shape into a roll about 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
Sprinkle chili powder evenly over a sheet of waxed paper and rolllog in the powder to coat evenly.
Wrap tightly in moisture-vaporproof material.
Chill cheese log at least 4 hours.
Slice before serving.
If necessary, allow log to stand at room temperature to soften slightly.
Serve with assorted crisp crackers.
