Sesame, Ham And Cheese Bites
|Boiled ham slice||8 (About 7 Inch X 5, 1/8 Inch Thick)|
|Prosciutto slices||4 , cut in half crosswise (Thin)|
|Gruyere cheese slice||8 (About 1/8 Inch Thick, To Fit Across Ham Slices)|
|Corn oil||5 Teaspoon|
|Black pepper||To Taste|
|Cayenne pepper||1 Dash|
|Sesame seeds||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Bread crumbs||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Chopped italian parsley||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Unbleached all purpose flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Melted sweet butter||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
Lay out 8 slices of boiled ham.
Cover each with a slice of prosciutto and a slice of gruyere, and top with a second slice of boiled ham.
Cut each into 6 squares.
Beat the oil, eggs, pepper to taste, and the cayenne together in a shallow bowl.
In another bowl toss sesame seeds, bread crumbs and parsley together.
Preheat oven to 400Â°F.
Dip each square first into flour, next into the egg mixture, last into sesame-seed mixture.
Put squares on a buttered baking sheet and drizzle melted butter on top.
Bake for 10 to 13 minutes, until sandwiches are golden and cheese is melted.
Drain on a paper towel for 1 minute
