Cereal Soup

Ingredients
  Oil 3 Tablespoon
  Onions 1⁄2 Pound, sliced
  Mushrooms 1⁄4 Pound, sliced
  Bay leaves 2
  Parsley sprigs 1 , minced
  Chervil 1 Teaspoon
  Nutritional yeast 3 Tablespoon
  Soy flour 1 Teaspoon
  Barley 1 Teaspoon, soaked with other grains in 1.5 quarts of stock for 30 minutes
  Brown rice 1 Teaspoon, soaked with other grains in 1.5 quarts of stock for 30 minutes
  Oats 1 Teaspoon, soaked with other grains in 1.5 quarts of stock for 30 minutes
  Millet 1 Teaspoon, soaked with other grains in 1.5 quarts of stock for 30 minutes
  Whole wheat 1 Teaspoon, soaked with other grains in 1.5 quarts of stock for 30 minutes
  Rye 1 Teaspoon, soaked with other grains in 1.5 quarts of stock for 30 minutes (Whole)
  Buckwheat 1 Teaspoon, soaked with other grains in 1.5 quarts of stock for 30 minutes
Directions

Heat oil in bottom of pot and in it lightly saute onions and mushrooms.
Add bay leaves, parsley, chervil, yeast and soy flour.
Blend.
Cover pot.
Steam gently for 5 minutes.
In another pot, simmer grains in stock 1/2 hour or until tender.
Combine with steamed onions and mushrooms.
Heat thoroughly.
