Rice Cereal

Ingredients
  Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Brown rice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Bring water and salt to a boil in a small saucepan.
Add rice, and stir only enough to combine.
Cover with a heavy lid to prevent steam from escaping.
Reduce heat to simmer, and cook 30 to 40 minutes.
Do not stir.
Tastetest rice kernels for tenderness.
