Honey Cereal Cookies
|Flour||2 Cup (32 tbs), sifted|
|Calumet baking powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Butter/Other shortening||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Packed brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Granulated sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Honey||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Grape nuts flakes||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Post sugar krinkles/Post sugar crisp||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Coconut||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Preferably Baker's)|
Sift flour once, measure, add baking powder, soda, and salt, and sift again.
Place shortening, sugars, honey, egg, and flour in a large mixing bowl.
Add cereals and coconut.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet.
Bake in a moderate oven (375Â°F.) for about 10 minutes, or until done.
Cookies will become crisp when cold.
