Fruited Cold Cereal

Ingredients
  Quick cooking oats 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Water 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Apples 2 Medium, around 3 cups of pieces
  Raisins 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Packed brown sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Lemon juice 2 Tablespoon
  Sliced almonds 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Mix oats and water in 1 1/2-quart bowl.
Let stand until oats are soft, about 10 minutes.
Stir in apples, raisins, brown sugar and lemon juice.
Sprinkle with almonds.
Serve with milk.
