|Honey||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Oil||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sesame seeds||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Soy grits||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Wheat germ||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Grated unsweetened coconut||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Rolled oats||7 Cup (112 tbs)|
In a large saucepan or dutch oven (cast iron works very well) heat the oil, honey, and vanilla until the mixture is thin.
Turn off the heat and stir in the remaining ingredients in the order given. Make sure each ingredient is coated with the honey mixture (except for the coconut and rolled oats which you will just have to mix in).
Put the dutch oven into your oven and turn the heat to 350°F. The cereal will begin to toast in about 15 minutes.
Once it has begun to brown stir it every 5 to 10 minutes.
I recommend that the cereal be toasted very lightly, but toast it according to your own taste preference (or toast preference)! Be sure to stir it up from the bottom too.
Take the cereal out of the oven and let it cool before pouring into storage jars.
