Grovee and Cottage Hot Cereal
|Water||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Mixed grains||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Golden raisins||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Currants/Dark raisins||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Cinnamon||1 Tablespoon, ground|
|Walnuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
BRING THE WATER to a boil in a large saucepan.
Stir in the grains, raisins, currants, cinnamon, and salt.
Scatter the walnuts on top, but do not stir them in.
Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and cook gendy until the grains are tender, about 45 minutes.
Stir and serve.
