A Cold Morning For Hot Peanut Cereal
|Water/Milk||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Whole wheat flour/Cracked wheat / combination of both making 1/2 cup||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Raw peanut meal||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Soy grits||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Raisins||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Or To Taste)|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Start heating the water and salt. Stir in the flour, peanut meal, and grits using a wire whisk to stir the mixture smooth. Add the raisins and honey.
While you are adding ingredients to the heated water the mixture will come to a boil. Turn the heat down quickly to avoid a boiled-over mess.
Cook the mixture uncovered over medium-low heat until it thickens, about 10-15 minutes depending on how thick you like it. Serve with milk.
