Crunchy Nutty Cereal
|Wheat germ||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Regular rolled oats||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Cornmeal||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Grape-nuts/All bran||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Coarsely chopped cashew||6 Ounce (2 Cups)|
|Sesame seeds||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Coconut||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Shelled sunflower seeds||6 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Honey||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Dark brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Molasses/Malt syrup||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Oil/Margarine||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), melted|
Mix the first eight ingredients in a bowl.
Measure remaining ingredients into a saucepan and heat until blended.
Stir into the dry mix with a fork.
Crumble mixture into 3 jelly-roll pans or shallow bake pans and bake at 275 to 300F.
Stir at 10 minute intervals until golden.
When cold store in plastic bags or covered wide-mouthed jars
