Oat Crackers

Ingredients
  Whole wheat flour 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Rolled oats 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Honey 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), warmed
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Soda 1⁄3 Teaspoon
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Buttermilk 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), heated
Directions

Preheat oven to 325° F.
Mix all ingredients as listed, except for buttermilk, and combine thoroughly.
Add buttermilk to make a cookie-type dough.(A few tablespoons of additional buttermilk may be needed to make a workable dough).
Divide dough in half.
Roll out, one-half at a time, between wax paper to a thickness of 3/16 inch.
Cut into squares or rectangles 1 to 1 1/2 inch across.
Prick each with a fork.
Place on greased baking sheet.
Bake in preheated oven for about 25 minutes.
Store in airtight container.
