Pasta with Caviar and Shallots in Olive Oil

|Olive oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Shallots||4 Medium, chopped finely|
|Caviar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (American Golden Variety)|
|Finely chopped fresh chives||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon, chopped|
|Pasta||1 Pound, cooked and drained|
In a medium skillet, heat the oil with the shallots over moderate heat.
As soon as the shallots sizzle, pour them with the oil over individual servings of pasta.
Top each serving with a dollop of caviar and a sprinling of chives.
