Braised Cauliflower

Ingredients
  Onion 1 Medium, sliced
  Chopped fresh ginger/One half teaspoon powdered ginger 2 Teaspoon
  Vegetable oil 2 Tablespoon
  Flowerets 2 Small, cut into flowerets
  Turmeric 1 Tablespoon
  Cumin 2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Freshly ground black pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Mustard seed 1 Tablespoon
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Saute the onion and ginger in the oil.
Stir in the remaining ingredients, cover and cook until the cauliflower is tender, about ten minutes, adding a little water if necessary to prevent burning.
