Rutabaga And Potato Casserole
|Rutabaga||1 Pound, peeled and diced|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Potatoes||2 Medium, peeled|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Grated parmesan cheese||2 Tablespoon|
|Black pepper||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
Place rutabaga and water in a 2 qt.glass casserole dish.
Cover and microwave 10 minutes.
Cover and microwave 10 to 15 minutes or until tender.
Mash vegetables with a potato masher or electric mixer until smooth.
Place milk and butter in a 2 cup glass measuring cup.
Microwave 1 minute 30 seconds to 2 minutes or until butter melts.
Stir into mashed vegetables.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Microwave, uncovered, 3 to 5 minutes or until hot.
Stir once during cooking.
