Kidney Bean Casserole
|Kidney beans||2 Pound (2 Cans, 1 Pound Each)|
|Chopped onions||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped celery||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chili sauce||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
Drain beans, reserving 3 tablespoons liquid.
Place bacon in a 1 1/2 qt.glass casserole dish.
Cover and microwave 5 minutes to 6 minutes 30 seconds or until crisp.
Drain, reserving 2 tablespoons drippings.
Crumble bacon and set aside.
Add onion and celery to reserved bacon drippings.
Microwave 2 to 3 minutes or until tender.
Stir in reserved kidney bean liquid and remaining ingredients.
Cover and microwave 8 to 10 minutes [ROASTS, 10 to 12 minutes] or until hot.
Stir twice during cooking.
Let stand 3 to 5 minutes.
