|Onions||4 Medium, thinly sliced|
|Parmesan cheese||1 , grated|
|Green pepper||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|All purpose flour||2 Tablespoon|
|Condensed beef consomme||10 1⁄2 Ounce|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Croutons||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Butter||2 Tablespoon, melted|
|Shredded swiss cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Place onions, green pepper and 3 tablespoons butter in a 2 qt.glass casserole dish.
Cover and microwave 5 to 7 minutes or until tender.
Stir in flour.
Gradually stir in consomme and water.
Microwave 5 to 7 minutes or until thickened.
Stir twice during cooking.
Toss together croutons and melted butter.
Spoon over onions and sprinkle with cheeses.
Microwave 2 to 3 minutes [ROASTS, 3 to 4 minutes] or until cheese melts
