Cashew Nut Casserole
|Green bell pepper||14 Cup (224 tbs)|
|Veal steak||1 Pound|
|Pork steak||1 Pound|
|Mushroom soup||2 Can (20 oz)|
|Milk||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Sharp grated cheese||1 Pound|
|Fried noodles||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Cashew nuts||1⁄2 Pound|
Cook onions and pepper in butter; set aside.
Cube steaks; brown in butter.
Add mushroom soup and milk; combine meat, onions, pepper, noodles and soup.
Put in casserole; top with grated cheese.
Bake 30 minutes at 275 degrees; remove from oven.
Mix fried noodles with cashew nuts; sprinkle on top of casserole.
Return to oven; bake an additional 30 minutes.
