Tomato Round Steak Casserole

The round steak casserole can be prepared with cubed round steak cooked together with vegetables like tomatoes, onions and green pepper. Bronwned and flavored with garlic, barbecue sauce and wine vinegar, the round steak casserole is finished over low heat and is best served with hot rice.
|Round steak||1 Pound, cubed|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Wesson oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Tomato||1 Large, peeled and quartered|
|Onion||1 , sliced|
|Green pepper||1⁄2 , sliced|
|Oregano powder||1 Dash|
|Chili powder||1 Dash|
|Barbecue sauce||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Red wine vinegar||14 Cup (224 tbs)|
Brown meat and garlic in oil; add sugar, pepper, tomato, onion, green pepper and spices.
Mix well; add barbecue sauce andwine vinegar.
Cook, covered, about 1 hour over low heat.
Add a little water if necessary.
Delicious served over hot rice.
