Sausage And Rice Casserole
|Ground sausage||1 Pound|
|Onion||1 Medium, chopped|
|Celery stalks||4 , diced|
|Beef consomm||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Cream of mushroom soup||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Rice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
In a large skillet, fry sausage until lightly brown.
Add onion and celery, and continue frying until sausage is cooked.
Drain off fat.
Add remaining ingredients, and mix well.
Pour into a 3 quart casserole dish, and bake uncovered in a 350Â° Foven for 1 hour or until rice is tender.
Top with slivered almonds if desired.
