Lentil Casserole

Ingredients
  Cooked lentils 2 Cup (32 tbs) (cooked according to package directions)
  Carrots 2 , sliced and cooked tender
  Onion 1 , chopped
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Oil 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Evaporated milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Sage 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Crushed corn flakes 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
Directions

Combine lentils, carrots, and onion in a greased casserole. Combine egg, oil, evaporated milk, salt, and sage, and mix well. Pour over lentil mixture in casserole. Top with corn flakes, if desired, and bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until set. Variation: Pour into greased loaf pan and bake for 1 hour. Slice and serve with gravy or sauce.
