West Country Lamb Casserole

Ingredients
  Butter 1 Ounce
  Onion 1
  Carrots 8 Ounce
  Turnip 1 Medium
  Button mushrooms 4 Ounce
  Lamb 1 Pound (Boned Leg / Cut Into 1 Inch Cubes)
  Plain flour 1 Ounce
  Cider/Light stock 3⁄4 Pint
  Marjoram 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Single cream 2 Tablespoon
  Parsley 1 Teaspoon, chopped
Directions

GETTING READY

1) Take the onions, carrots and turnips. Slice them.

MAKING

2) Take a pan and melt butter into it.
3) Put sliced onion, carrots and turnips to the pan.
4) Cook for 3 minutes.
5) Add mushrooms and lamb. Cook for few more minutes.
6) Add flour and continue cooking.
7) Add 3/4 pint liquid (half cider, half stock) and boil them.
8) Add seasoning along with marjoram.
9) Simmer for 45 minutes.

SERVING

10) Serve the dish immediately.
