Bean Casserole Sablaise
|Dried small white beans||2 Cup (32 tbs), soaked for 4 hours|
|Water||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Salt pork||1⁄8 Pound, cut into chunks|
|Garlic||4 Clove (20 gm), peeled|
|Black pepper||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
1) In a slow cooker, put all the ingredients.
2) Cover the cooker and cook on LOW till it is time for dinner, when the casserole is to be served.
3) Transfer the casserole to a serving plate and serve hot. Makes a good main course dish.
